They are also capable of high-frequency switching, making them suitable for applications that require precise control of the load.

Advantages of Solid-State Contactor:

  • Produce no noise or vibration during operation.
  • High switching frequency and precise control of the load.
  • Long lifespan due to no mechanical wear and tear.
  • Less likely to experience contact welding or sticking.

Disadvantages of Solid-State Contactor:

  • Limited current and voltage handling capacity compared to magnetic contactors.
